For artist Alex Cook, art is all about sharing love and healing with the world. And in recent years, he’s been doing that through a direct message meant to uplift and inspire: “You Are Loved.”

As Laura White explained in her studio, the practicality of pottery is a draw for her. “I come out here, I open up a bag of clay, and I make it into something useful,” she said. “I think that’s really cool. It makes sense to me.” 

Many new innovations came to life during the pandemic, and one result is Vermont Art Online, where galleries and museums can share their exhibits virtually.
